Dan was born February 5, 1947. He answered the call to ministry as a young man. While preaching revival in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dan met his wife Linda (Hyden) Morgan and they married in 1971. After evangelizing full time the first few years of there marriage they began pastoring in the London, Kentucky area while operating a business and continuing to evangelize on a part time basis. In 1988 the Lord called them back to full time evangelism. They began home schooling there children and maintained a life on the road for over 20 years. During that time they founded The Morgan Family Ministries Inc, a Non-Profit evangelistic ministry. In May of 2009 The Morgans were involved in a serious bus crash on I-65 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, when a tractor trailer rear-ended them. The crash received national media coverage due to its severity. The tractor trailer, 2 tour busses, 2 enclosed car haulers, 1 SUV, 1 mini-van, a motorcycle and all the music gear were totaled in the crash. Brother and Sister Morgan have since pioneered a church in Northern Kentucky called Cross and Crown Community Church. Since the first service in July of 2010, they have been experiencing tremendous growth for the Lord. Once a month Dan and Linda schedule a revival in which Trent, Charissa and family help. Look on the Morgans’ schedule to find out the revival they are holding closest to you.
Their children are now grown and continuing to work for the Lord in various areas of ministry as well. Melissa (Morgan) Woosley is married to Paul Woosley of Winchester, Kentucky. They have 4 children and live in Ocala, Florida, where they are the pastors of Crossroads Community Church of God and are seeing wonderful things done for the Lord. Nikki (Morgan) Wilson is married to Bill Wilson of Silver Grove, Kentucky. Bill and Nikki have 4 children and live in Ludlow, Kentucky. They are actively working in their church doing music ministry.
